From July 2022, the esterometro scheme made it mandatory for all data related to services carried out to and by non-VAT subjects in Italy to be transmitted electronically via SDI and using the XML format which was already in use for e-invoices.
What to do when a lot of your invoices are in the traditional PDF format? You don’t have to do a thing – we have got you covered. Once a document is generated (either by a scan or by management software) it is then uploaded to our software which performs text recognition and automapping, enabling the document to be automagically included in your workflow.
This is far better than an OCR system: our solution runs AI algorithms* capable of recognizing the main fields on any invoice and convert them into a standards-compliant XML file. Once the task is complete a notification pops up that allows you to review the process and approve it – and once this is done, you may send it to the SDI and store it securely on our platform.

An automatic,
self-taught process
Thanks to the wonders of artificial intelligence, you don't need to spend time individually mapping fields on your invoices to indicate where the relevant information is. This will take place automatically, regardless of the document layout, later to be extracted in text format.
And, just like the case is for all AI-based solutions, self-learning becomes more and more accurate with time thus improving the results.
The algorithm can read digital documents or analog scans – there is no need to train it to perform work on different invoice fields.
It only takes a few seconds for PDF invoice fields to be processed and displayed on your screen. All you need to do is validate the error-free result and save it.
The documents are saved in the XML format. This means you can send them directly to the SDI right away or store them in a database of your choice for future reference.
